If you ask any bride, they will say that choosing a dress is the most important part of the wedding planning. For Taylor, her dress means so much more. There is a tradition in her family as her grandmother is the one who makes the wedding gowns for each bride in the family. This gown, Taylor’s gown, is a true testament to the strength and love that her grandmother poses. It is a strength that I see in each one of her family members. During the process of making her gown, Taylor’s grandmother was also on chemo and battling cancer. Throughout the wedding day, there were so many special moments that her grandmother was apart of. There was not a dry eye in the crowd when Taylor’s dad honored his mother during the reception. The bond between these family members and now Dustin’s family, is one of the strongest bonds I have ever witnessed at a wedding. Dustin also has such kindness that it is no wonder that Taylor said yes to being his wife.
