I was very excited when Alissa contacted me about documenting her wedding. We first met in the 6th grade. She has always been one of the sweetest person I have ever known.
This past Saturday, Alissa became Mrs. Bradley Wright. They were married at the Twentieth Ave Church of God. The church was beautifully decorated by her mother Lynn Odom with the help of Johnson’s Flower World. The colors were red and white which were inspired by Alissa’s favorite holiday, Valentines Day. Following the ceremony, the newlyweds were swept away in the limo and taken to Grand Harbor for the reception. After a few quick pictures, the couple danced the night away to 80’s music!
Today I received one of the nicest letters anyone has ever given me. It is moments like this and people like the Odoms and Wrights that make my job a true blessing! Here is what Mrs. Odom had to say….
“Thank you so much for all of your hard work for Alissa & Brad’s wedding. You guys make a great team. You were very professional and made us all feel so relaxed knowing that you were so in control. I really believe the pictures you took are going to be great and the memories will be forever captured on film. We can’t wait to see them. Alissa & Brad were so happy and they both commented on how at ease you made them feel during the whole wedding. We can’t thank you enough for such a organized and professional job. WELL DONE!”
I love this moment right before the father gives his daughter away!
Brad proposed to Alissa by placing her ring in the glass of champagne!
